50 Years of Rocky Horror

The cult phenomenon that defined midnight movies is turning 50. Pop’s Art Theater will showcase programming to celebrate from Oct 24th – Nov 1st.

THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW (1975)

The Rocky Horror Picture Show will screen with a LIVE community shadow cast will show from Oct 24th – 26th and Oct 28th – Nov 1st, with non-cast screenings on Oct 27th and 28th. Prop bags will be available for purchase at all screenings!

STRANGE JOURNEY: The Story of Rocky Horror

The documentary will screen Oct 26th – 28th. From its humble origins as a London fringe theater play, the documentary tracks its meteoric rise, fall and resurrection to become the biggest cult film of all time.

VARIETY SHOW SPECIAL

Lastly, our big celebration is Friday, Oct 31st at the 11pm screening. We’re hosting a Variety Show (included in ticket) ahead of the late night show! Join us for a wild, wicked variety show featuring drag, musical numbers, and spooky performances by community members and your favorite shadow cast freaks. It’s sexy, silly, and totally unhinged — the perfect pre-game before Rocky Horror. We’re raising tips and hell for The Trevor Project, supporting LGBTQ+ youth as vital services face cuts. Come scream, strut, and throw money for a good cause.
