Pop's Art Theater

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do tickets cost?

All general admission tickets are $10.00 plus tax [$10.81 total] available at the door or online. If booking advance online, a $0.69 fee applies. Special events are subject to different pricing.

Where can I park?

We have a Parking Lot located in the rear of the building. Enter from 7th St or thru the 6th Ave alley, do not block or park in the alley. You may also use street parking in front of the theater. The Route 11 bus stops right in front of Pop’s on weekdays, and the Route 26 bus on the weekends.

What are your showimes and hours?

Showtimes vary daily! Please check the online calender here for up to date showtimes. The building is open 30 mins before each showtime, and theater seating opens 10-15 mins before the film. We do not advise arriving more than 30mins before a showtime. All screenings have roughly 10mins of trailers.

Can I get a refund for tickets I purchased and can no longer use?

Advance ticket purchases cannot be cancelled or refunded. You may exchange tickets for a different showtime for the same film by emailing contact@popsarttheater.com before the original showtime purchased.

Do you have food and drinks?

Yes, we sell popcorn and various boxes of candy, as well as soda, water, and other drinks. Please leave your personal food and drink at home.

Are you also a coffeeshop? Or do you serve alcoholic beverages?

No, we do not serve espresso drinks, coffee, nor alcoholic beverages.

How can I book a private event or party?

Please reach out to contact@popsarttheater.com with a proposed date and we will provide more details for booking! View our rate sheet here.

What makes you different from the former Gray Duck Theater?

Pop’s Art Theater is a new theater in the former Gray Duck Theater location. Operations for Pop’s Art Theater are run by the owners of Treedome. Pop’s continues to show independent films while adding a focus on repertory movies and other events such as live music and community programming.

Why are you called Pop's?

Pop’s Art Theater is named after Pop’s Art Studio, the former art moniker of owner Nate Nelson’s late father, Matthew Nelson, who passed away in 2022. The theater was named in his honor due to his long time love of art, film, community and bringing people together.
